Job Summary

TRG is hiring Civil Engineering Technologist to support high-voltage substation projects involving secondary oil containment systems. This role participates in all project phases-from quotation and design through installation and close-out documentation-and involves both office and field work with travel across North America.

Key Responsibilities

Review project scope, schedules, volumes, and cost calculations Support quotation preparation, estimates, and bid reviews Provide technical support during engineering and construction phases Conduct site visits to ensure installation quality and compliance Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams Review designs, drawings, as-built documentation, manuals, and QC records Supervise onsite teams and assist with installation activities as required Maintain knowledge of product applications, availability, and pricing Foster strong client relationships and address engineering issues Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies and SOPs Qualifications Education & Knowledge: Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field Professional designation (in process preferred) Blueprint reading and AutoCAD experience considered an asset Experience & Skills: Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage projects from concept to completion Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams Technically capable of anticipating and troubleshooting project issues Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail Special Requirements Ability to travel up to 50% within North America Valid passport permitting international travel Valid Ontario Driver's License Drug and alcohol testing as required Physical & Work Requirements Occasional office-based drafting and documentation work Occasional site work in varying weather and environmental conditions Travel to customer and project sites as required Accountability Responsible for work area, product documentation, and development records Supports decisions related to product applications and market fit How to Apply If you feel you are a strong fit and this role matches your skills and experience, you are perfect for this role - please apply .
