Role Description This is a contract role for a Food Photographer based on-site in Ottawa, Ontario. The Food Photographer will work closely with the creative and marketing teams to produce high-quality images of food and beverages. Plan and execute styled food photo shoots. Edit and retouch images. Collaborate with stylists and chefs. Ensure visual consistency across all projects. Manage props, lighting, and setups to create visually appealing imagery that tells a story. Qualifications Proficiency in Food Photography, Photography Equipment, and Lighting Techniques. Skills in Photo Editing, Retouching, and familiarity with software such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom. Strong Creative Vision and an understanding of visual storytelling and composition. Ability to Work Efficiently in a Collaborative Environment and follow brand guidelines. Organizational Skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Previous experience in food photography is highly desirable. A portfolio demonstrating expertise in food styling and photography. Access to professional camera equipment and knowledge of its use.
