At Chandos, you will be a vital part of multiple construction and maintenance projects, working tightly with the site superintendent. Your responsibilities will include interpreting specifications, carrying out carpentry-related tasks, and ensuring materials are managed efficiently. Candidates who are detail-oriented and able to adapt to changing conditions will thrive in this hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform internal and external structural repairs
• Lay foundations and frame constructions with care
• Operate carpentry equipment and tools effectively
• Maintain safety protocols and compliance at all times
• Collaborate with site teams to maintain quality standards
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Carpenter Certificate, Red Seal preferred
• Active experience in carpentry with construction knowledge
• Proficiency in estimating materials and reading blueprints
• WHMIS 2015 and Fall Protection certification mandatory
• Strong analytical skills and independent work capability
