That's why we're looking for a Technical Service Superstar who is ready to lead, train, diagnose and support our national dealer network, as well as help roll out the next generation of commercial vehicles, including new energy. Based at our brand-new, purpose-built head office in Hamilton, this is your chance to join a fast-expanding truck brand in NZ and make a real impact at a distributor level. You'll have the support of a small but super-human team who genuinely back each other when things get tough. What You'll Do Deliver hands‑on & virtual training for dealer technicians nationwide. Support diagnostics, complex repairs, and technical queries across the network. Develop clear, effective training materials, bulletins, and job aids. Spot emerging technical trends and drive improvements. Assist with product rectification, and new product launches. Build strong relationships across dealers, OEM, and internal teams. Manage warranty‑based repairs for support service agents nationwide. Support the warranty department to assess, guide and submit claims. What You'll Bring Trade‑qualified Automotive Technician with proven workshop experience. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Light/Heavy automotive technician. Strong diagnostics skills across ICE and ideally EV/hybrid systems. Strong problem‑solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear, effective interaction with our team and customers. Solid organisational skills and the ability to work independently. A full, clean, and current driver licence (class 2 or higher would be even better). Experience as a technical trainer would be a big plus. Why Foton NZ? This isn't just a "sit behind a desk" role.
