As a Software Development Manager , you will be a part of the CARFAX Data, AI & ML team reporting to the Senior Software Development Manager. You will be leading a team of Software Engineers and QA Engineers to build products, platforms, and pipelines to support machine learning initiatives at CARFAX. At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 2 days in the London, ON office subject to change with future business needs. What you’ll be doing: Build high-performing teams by providing clear goals and continuous feedback Improve team and individual performance Establish clear goals and objectives that align with Department and Corporate Game Plans Provide continuous feedback to engineers through regular 1-on-1 meetings Develop self-organizing and self-directing teams Coach teams to practice Agile Development methodologies Coach teams to use TDD to deliver high quality software releases Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
