Overview CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior Story Programmer to join us and work on Cyberpunk 2, the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077. In this role, you will help the Team develop Story and Quest tools to enable designers to deliver on the vision of the game. Responsibilities Work closely with quest and cinematic designers to understand their needs and ensure the tools meet the creative and technical goals. Build and maintain story related plugins. Ensure tools run efficiently without sacrificing performance, maintaining smooth workflows for the design team. Write high-quality code that is optimised, bug-free, and aligned with project goals. Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure the tools contribute effectively to all game systems and components. Qualifications At least 7 years of professional experience as a programmer within the game industry. Strong proficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine 5. Ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome technical challenges and drive innovation in technology. Ability to interpret the needs of less technical people and to communicate workflow with them. Experience with Unreal’s cinematic sequencer. Nice to have Previous experience working on Story or Quest tools. Additional Information The application window for this position will close by 04/30/2026. Estimated pay range for this position: $127,200 - $190,800 CAD annually At CD PROJEKT RED compensation for our roles in North America are determined based on competitive market data, geographic location, and individual factors tied to business needs.
