We work with forecast, price, inventory, fulfillment and other SCOT systems to compute transfers across Amazon network. We aim to optimize supply availability across Amazon fulfillment network through rebalancing and replenishing inventory while reducing delivery cost for our customers.We partner with research scientists, product managers, and software engineers to solve complex problems and build innovative solutions to drive inventory transfers decisions. You will design and build scalable, distributed computing solutions. The candidate needs a high sense of ownership, the ability to develop end‑to‑end solutions, and improve customer experience. This role exposes you to problems of scale in data mining, machine learning algorithms, and cloud‑scale distributed systems. You will be responsible for driving the team’s technical direction, strategizing, and shaping our long‑term vision and architecture. Key Job Responsibilities We’re looking for an experienced, results‑oriented Software Development Engineer capable of building scalable software solutions for Inventory transfers systems for Amazon. The ideal candidate will work with other engineers, product managers, and research scientists to build end‑to‑end solutions solving complex business problems at scales only available at Amazon. In this role you can advance your skills by working with the latest technologies and delivering solutions that positively impact all Amazon customers.
