Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Description As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Interlinx Systems, you will play a key role in developing and supporting advanced interoperability solutions that connect healthcare organizations, imaging centers, and enterprise platforms. Working alongside senior platform engineers, DevOps specialists, and implementation teams, you will help design and maintain software that enables secure, reliable, and standards‑compliant healthcare data exchange. Key Responsibilities Deploy and manage containerized applications supporting DICOM, HL7, and FHIR data exchange Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for healthcare workflows Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of new features Implement and maintain security best practices for PHI (Protected Health Information) handling Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes Support clinical workflows and imaging data routing systems Participate in on‑call rotation to ensure system availability and rapid incident response Document processes, procedures, and system configurations Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role Strong hands‑on experience with DICOM protocols and imaging workflows Solid understanding of HL7 (v2.x and/or v3) and FHIR standards for healthcare data exchange Demonstrated knowledge of clinical radiology workflows, including image routing, PACS integration, and modality connectivity Experience with Linux/Unix system administration Understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA) Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment Authorization to work in the United States or Canada Preferred Qualifications Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) Understanding of healthcare IT security frameworks and compliance requirements Background in healthcare IT or medical imaging systems What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package 100% remote work environment with flexible hours Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on healthcare delivery Collaborative team culture with experienced healthcare IT professionals Professional development and continuing education support Modern technology stack and tools Location This is a remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
