Senior Manager, Procurement Strategy

Overview What is the opportunity? The Senior Manager, Procurement Strategy & Transformation will bring facts and data to procurement decision-making processes. You’ll lead analytics and strategies across Global Procurement and solve complex problems using data-driven insights. You will translate data into a narrative that leads to better outcomes. You’ll be part of a fun and engaged team that uses facts and data to solve problems and improve outcomes. To be successful, you’ll have expert analytic capabilities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to challenge the status quo and adapt to change. Responsibilities Leverage a data-centric approach to build category and supplier strategies in partnership with key stakeholders; implementations may drive transformational change across Global Procurement and the lines of business. Strong communication and collaboration are critical to influence stakeholders and drive change. Experience in IT and Professional Services category strategy is beneficial. Story-telling to compel meaningful outcomes (changes, actions, etc.) through effective storytelling across audiences; partner with stakeholders to manage impacts from strategies developed. Analytics & Strategy Development: use facts and data to solve problems and develop transformational strategies. Analyze third-party spend, pricing, contracts and processes to identify opportunities and support sourcing engagements. Optimize third-party spend and allocate resources across competing priorities by letting data guide decisions, including RFx modeling, spend analysis and forecasting, benchmarking, industry research, bid evaluation and deal modeling. Continuous improvement: support strategic initiatives including process re-design, strategy development, budget and priority-setting, and digital culture transformation; apply problem-solving, communication, project management, change management and creativity to be successful. What you need to succeed Must-have Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or similar with analytical bias Seven years’ experience in procurement strategy, category management, change management and transformation delivery Experience with price modeling, forecasting and storytelling Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills Superb written and oral communication skills Expert level in Microsoft Office applications; particularly PowerPoint and Excel (pivots, complex logic, lookups, etc.) Willingness to embrace change Nice-to-have A smattering of other technical prowess: MS Access, Power BI, Tableau Related experience within a matrixed corporate environment IT and/or Professional Services category knowledge What’s in it for you?
