Responsibilities Design, develop, and debug software modules for the NIOS DDI platform. Write high‑quality code using Linux, C/C++, Python, and XML. Apply knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Linux internals, and networking stacks. Create detailed design documents and comprehensive test plans. Collaborate with product architects, senior engineers, QA, and support teams to resolve complex technical challenges. Qualifications 6‑10 years of professional experience in software engineering. Solid systems background and knowledge of Linux kernel, OS internals, GNU toolchain, and debugging tools. Excellent network, socket, and multi‑threaded programming skills; experience with DNS and DHCP protocols is a plus. Superb development and problem‑solving skills. Strong working knowledge of Linux platform services, performance analysis, and kernel‑level debugging using GDB. Solid understanding of networking concepts, OSPF, BGP, IPv6, DHCP, and DNS protocol. Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and vCloud Director is a plus. Experience in micro‑services architecture and container‑based software using Docker and other container technologies is a plus. Experience in Agile methodologies with software development life‑cycle experience. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field.
