We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to design and maintain the core backend systems powering a global, high-performance platform. In this role, you will contribute to building scalable, secure, and innovative features that directly impact users worldwide. You will work on complex architectures, integrate with blockchain technologies, and ensure services remain real-time and reliable. Accountabilities Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations to ensure scalability, reliability, and high performance. Design and implement new products and features using agile methodologies to provide a seamless user experience. Ensure backend systems follow the highest security standards, protecting the integrity and safety of the platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and engineers to deliver robust solutions. Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain backend processes to support high-availability and low-latency operations. Requirements Exceptional proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript development. Experience with microservices architecture and building complex backend systems. Strong database skills (MySQL, MongoDB) and familiarity with high-performance data management. Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing secure backend systems. Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements. Bonus skills: blockchain integration, Ruby, Rust, C++, message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues.
