Overview Trinity Western University’s Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology. The position begins August 16, 2026. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching and research, with responsibilities spanning undergraduate teaching, student mentorship, and active scholarly output within developmental psychology (including infant/child psychology, adolescence, and adulthood and aging). Responsibilities Teach undergraduate courses in developmental psychology (e.g., infant/child psychology, adolescence, adulthood and aging) and courses in the candidate’s area of research specialization. Demonstrate ability to develop an active research program; mentor and advise undergraduate students; supervise undergraduate student research projects; establish collaborative research relationships with local community organizations. Engage in department and university service as part of the academic duties. Qualifications PhD in Psychology or Clinical Psychology (completed or near completion). Commitment to excellence in teaching and research; ability to contribute to undergraduate statistics instruction is desirable.
