This Deli Associate position develops retail and customer service skills at Walmart Canada. You will zone the department, rotate stock, check expiration dates, and prepare meat, cheese, fried chicken, salads, and side dishes. The work includes slicers, stackers, a rotisserie oven, and a deep fryer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary customer service in the deli department
- Zone displays and keep the area clean and organized
- Rotate stock and check expired products
- Take orders and prepare deli merchandise
- Assist front end Associates with price checks
Requirements:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Follow food handling and cold chain compliance standards
- Record temperatures and complete thermometer calibrations
- Use slicers, stackers, utensils, ovens, and fryers
- Maintain accurate signs, prices, and sell-by dates
