Brief Description We have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate and/or Senior Field Services Technologist in Edmonton . The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Medium Voltage Energy Isolation and Maintenance, creating superior client experiences through commissioning, repair, and maintenance of primary and secondary power equipment. Accountabilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following areas: Service Scope: Equipment upgrades, maintenance, testing, and commissioning services for commercial, industrial, and utility clients. Client Development: Develop client relationships on site, identify service opportunities, participate in industry events. Job Preparation & Planning: Ensure all equipment and materials are available for projects. Job Execution: Hands-on work onsite, provide project updates, communicate with teams, escalate issues, develop site strategies, ensure safety and quality, complete documentation, and review project execution. Reporting: Ensure all documents are completed and submitted, generate technical reports. Invoicing: Support invoicing processes, including extras for work performed. Job Follow-up: Complete client follow-up, provide feedback on project and employee performance. Leadership: Mentor and integrate junior employees, lead projects. Safety: Adhere to safety policies, participate in safety meetings. Requirements 3+ years' experience as an Electrical Technologist, Field Technician, Power System Electrician, or Electrical Engineer. Hands-on experience with commissioning, testing, or maintaining power delivery equipment. Knowledge of commercial, industrial, and utility environments. Trade or tech school certification required; Electrical Engineering degree, PSE, CET, and NETA certification are assets. Proven leadership in project teams, valid driver’s license, self-management, proficiency in Microsoft Office, problem-solving skills, ability to work in dynamic environments, flexible shifts, travel capability, excellent communication, positive attitude.
