Reporting to the Senior Manager of the Homeowner Platform team, you will be responsible for delivering IT application and development services, while advancing software engineering methodologies and best practices. What You Will Do Build and lead a high-performing team to deliver business value aligned with organizational priorities, promoting agility, productivity, and innovation. Develop and implement software engineering standards, training programs, and best practices to ensure consistency across projects and product teams. Develop metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress, identify improvement opportunities, and enhance delivery performance and client satisfaction. Champion creative problem-solving and experimentation, encouraging the team to explore new technologies and approaches that strengthen our competitive edge. Over 3 years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports, with a strong track record of coaching, performance management, talent development. Demonstrated experience in software delivery management, including overseeing project timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions on schedule and within scope, as well as managing and supporting production environments to ensure operational stability and rapid incident resolution. Knowledge of design patterns, code reviews, software debugging techniques and application security principles. Strong analytical and technical skills, with proven logical reasoning and effective problem-solving abilities. Solution-oriented mindset with a proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, peers, and team members. Excellent communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to persuade, influence and engage at all levels, including senior leadership. It Would Be Great If You Had Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. Demonstrated expertise in modern architectural patterns, including microservices and event-driven design, to support robust and flexible software delivery. Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, agile methodologies, and DevOps principles, with hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines to drive efficiency and quality.
