Overview Risk Manager - Infrastructure project execution role at Boralex Inc. Boralex has been providing renewable and affordable energy for over 30 years. The Group, composed of more than 800 employees, operates renewable assets with an installed capacity of over 3 GW and is developing a project portfolio of 6.8 GW in wind, solar, and energy storage. This role supports project managers in identifying and analyzing project risks and developing risk mitigation plans across the infrastructure project lifecycle. Responsibilities Accompany project managers to identify and analyze project risks and support the formulation of risk mitigation plans at all stages of the infrastructure project. Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the probability and impact of risks on costs, schedule, and contingencies using qualitative and quantitative analyses (e.g., Monte Carlo simulations). Monitor the effectiveness of risk controls throughout the project lifecycle and establish key risk indicators (KRIs) to track risk status and trends. Participate in governance meetings on project progress, assist in resolving risk-related issues, and escalate as required. Develop and continuously improve the project risk management framework, integrating risk management into planning and decision-making. Develop training materials and facilitate risk management training sessions for project teams and respond to risk-related questions or concerns. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project risk management, risk quantification, and/or project cost and schedule analysis. Mastery of project risk management methodologies and standards (e.g., AACE, ISO 31000). Proficiency in risk quantification tools such as @RISK for Monte Carlo modeling is an asset. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Excellent knowledge of construction project risks in the energy sector. Bilingual (English/French).
