Senior Forecasting Analyst

Overview Senior Forecasting Analyst role at Rogers Communications. The Senior Forecasting Analyst will be accountable for consolidation and forecasting of Rogers Communications wireless subscriber metrics, performance management, and continuous improvement on current processes. This includes day-to-day subscriber updates, weekly performance, liaison with the business and Finance on forecast/budget targets, and providing key insights from data analysis. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Forecasting and Analytics. The successful candidate will be strategic, with strong analytical skills to highlight risks and opportunities and bring data-driven storytelling to life. What You'll Do Work with cross-functional business and finance partners to provide accurate and timely actual and forecast/budget targets Build, maintain and improve complex Excel models for subscriber reporting and forecasting Create scorecards and month-end reports for the senior leadership team Develop and maintain subscriber forecasts with extensive integration to key reporting frameworks (e.g., Sales Insight, Bl, Comlink/Opensignal & internal market models) Perform ad-hoc analysis on regional and national performance, market and competition results, and provide decision-support Assist the Senior Manager in discussions with business owners and marketing primes to monitor progress to forecast on acquisitions and deactivations Prepare deactivation targets for Care team and inflow splits to Sales and Marketing teams based on forecast submissions What You'll Have Experience in analytic roles with ability to derive actionable insights Knowledge of telecom industry is a plus Expert knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications Working knowledge of SAS/SQL, relational databases, and Tableau/Power BI is an asset Experience manipulating large datasets and working with diverse data sources Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a changing environment Proficiency in statistics and business/financial analysis Ability to work independently and with teams Excellent oral, written and presentation/communication skills Undergraduate degree in business, economics, or marketing (B.Comm/MBA).
