Creative Production and Design Specialist

**About the role:**Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing and Communications the Specialist, Creative Production and Design is responsible for the graphic design, production, and delivery of all types of marketing communications collateral for Southlake Health Foundation, including print materials (e.g. donor proposals, brochures, signage, etc.), experiential materials (e.g. retractable banners, displays, etc.) web and digital assets, photo and video content, advertising (digital and traditional), and multi-media assets. This role requires an independent, experienced creative professional who is a seasoned graphic designer and project manager with experience in production and delivery management, and creative planning. Skills in video production and editing would be considered an asset, as well as experience as an in-house graphic designer for a high-performing marketing communications team. The Specialist, Creative Production and Design takes initiative, collaborates with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams, is an expert time manager, can balance multiple ongoing priorities, and has incredible attention to detail. As a member of our Southlake Health Foundation team, you will have the opportunity to support a wide variety of events, campaigns, promotions, and donor-focused activities. You will work with all areas of the Foundation to execute thoughtful and innovative marketing collateral that resonates with a variety of target audiences to inspire investment in leading edge care, close to home at Southlake Health. A university or college degree/diploma in graphic design, multimedia design, digital marketing, integrated marketing communications or a combination of education and experience that is deemed equivalent A minimum of 2-3 years of graphic design/production experience with a strong portfolio (to be shared with Southlake Foundation). Non-profit experience an asset, as well as experience on an in-house marketing/design teamDigital photography and editing skills Experience working with and managing external vendors, partners, and agencies (e.g. printing houses, promotional agencies, advertisers, etc.)Proficiency in productivity software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)Demonstrated project management skills and knowledge of industry tools and best practices for creative production management Video production and editing skills an asset (with knowledge of Premier Pro software)Strong attention to detail, with expert organizational and time management skills (ability to work with multiple deadlines and achieve results)Ability to work energetically and creatively with a team to brainstorm and iterate solutions Ability to give and receive constructive feedback in respectful and considered way that enables growth, innovation and collaborative creativity Serve with purpose - We are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
