Opportunity We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer (Software Engineer II) to join our Flow Platform team in Canada. In this hybrid role, you’ll play a key part in strengthening the foundation of our cloud and developer platforms, with a focus on resiliency, automation, and operational excellence. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to build and refine infrastructure, streamline deployments, and enhance the developer experience. This is a high‑impact role with opportunities to lead initiatives that improve platform reliability and engineering velocity. What You’ll Do Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure on AWS. Build and enhance internal developer platform tools to improve productivity. Develop and maintain automation services for deployment and operations. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc. Manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar. Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. Monitor platform health and define actionable alerts to meet SLOs and SLAs. Participate in on‑call rotations and incident response. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and automate operational gaps. Contribute to technical discussions, demos, and incident reviews. What You’ll Bring 2–5 years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure. Strong hands‑on experience with AWS and familiarity with other cloud providers (GCP, Azure). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or Perl. Solid understanding of Linux‑based systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS). Experience with Git and version control best practices. Exposure to AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Dev, Claude Code, Cursor). Passion for automation and improving developer workflows. Nice to Have Experience with multi‑cloud environments (Azure, GCP). Familiarity with AI agents, autonomous workflows, or MCPs. Experience with compliance‑driven environments (PCI, SOC2, ISO, HIPAA). Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments. Exposure to security and artifact management tools such as: Mend, Sonar, Snyk, JFrog, Rapid7, Wiz, Detectify, GitHub Security, AWS Security Hub.
