The tech we build today will create a better tomorrow. As a Salesforce QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce solutions. Responsibilities Test Planning: Collaborate with the development, business analysis, and project management teams to understand project requirements, define test strategies, and develop comprehensive test plans. Test Case Development: Design, document, and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios to validate Salesforce functionality, customizations, and integrations. Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing of Salesforce applications, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and repeatability. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities are not adversely affected by new changes or updates. Performance Testing: Evaluate the performance and scalability of Salesforce applications, identify potential bottlenecks, and recommend optimizations to improve performance. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and conduct UAT sessions with business stakeholders to validate that the solutions meet their needs and expectations. Defect Management: Track, manage, and report defects using a defect tracking system, ensuring that all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies. Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high‑quality Salesforce solutions. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and defects to ensure transparency and traceability. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and issues related to Salesforce implementations and provide recommendations for mitigation. Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to junior testers and team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall testing capability of the team. Test Environment Management: Set up and manage test environments, including configuring Salesforce sandboxes and ensuring data integrity. Reporting: Generate and distribute test execution status reports, highlighting key metrics, test coverage, and defect trends. Qualifications Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce QA testing. Technical Skills Proficiency in testing Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom solutions. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Familiarity with defect tracking systems, such as Jira or Bugzilla. Soft Skills Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively in a team environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Preferred Qualifications Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, or Salesforce Platform App Builder certification. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in Agile development teams. Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and integration tools such as REST/SOAP APIs and middleware solutions.
