User Experience Specialist

Scope:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Experience Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the user experience across our digital products and services through thoughtful design, interaction models, and usability testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement UX design practices such as journey maps, service blueprints, and personas.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for digital products.
- Collaborate with executives and senior management to provide strategic advice on service strategies and user experience approaches.
- Design user interfaces for complex technical projects managing large volumes of data.
- Work within agile development environments to iteratively improve digital products and services.
- Ensure designs meet WCAG accessibility standards.
- Mentor team members on UX and service design methodologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a design or technology discipline, or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a UX role OR Diploma in a relevant field with 6+ years of UX experience.
- Proficiency in UX design practices and tools, including journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
- Experience developing user interfaces and interaction models for digital products.
- Strong communication skills to present recommendations and options to stakeholders.
- Experience in agile, digital product-focused environments.
- Visual design experience for web and digital applications.
- Familiarity with tools like Figma, Miro, Photoshop, and agile project management software.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Ability to work creatively within corporate design systems.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Miro, and Photoshop.
- Experience with agile project management software like Zenhub and Github.
- Capability to create and execute service strategies to deliver on organizational goals.
