We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with strong expertise in C++ programming and PostgreSQL database design and optimization. What you will be doing Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern C++. Implement efficient database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in PostgreSQL. Optimize application performance through profiling, memory management, and query tuning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with front-end applications. Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and reliability. Collaborate with external vendors and service providers manage technical integrations, clarify requirements, track deliverables, and coordinate issue resolution and SLAs. Manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for deployments: author and maintain runbooks, pre/post‑deploy checklists, rollback plans, and CAB/change approvals. Conduct deployment readiness reviews and post‑implementation reviews; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement of SOPs. What you bring 3+ years of professional experience in C++ development (C++11 or later). Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, multithreading, and memory management. Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization, PL/pgSQL). Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools (CMake, Make). Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Experience collaborating with vendors and managing technical SLAs. Demonstrated ability to author and maintain deployment SOPs/runbooks and execute change processes. Nice to Have Experience with performance tuning for large‑scale systems. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Exposure to service delivery management or ITIL processes is a plus. Experience with deployment orchestration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and change governance (CAB).
