The Branch Manager reports directly to the Greater Ontario Region Head of PWM and is a key leadership position on the TD Wealth senior executive team. Key responsibilities include: Effective People Leadership – lead, coach, and develop high‑performing teams. Operational Excellence – improve operating performance, set goals, and establish clear performance measures. Organizational Awareness – engage the organization, lead through complex change, and enhance TD’s brand. Business Acumen – understand TD Wealth Management Advisory offerings, analyze data, and drive revenue growth. Strategic Insight – assess competitive landscape, anticipate industry trends, and recommend strategies. Business Development Capability – grow the TD PWM franchise and increase local market profile. Proactive Risk Management – maintain understanding of internal risk management, audit policies, and regulatory requirements. Drive regional operating performance, sales culture, talent strategy, business development, compliance oversight, and investment advisor recruitment. Contribute to annual regional business plans aligned with TD Wealth strategy. Review and support Branch Managers in business plan execution. Recruit, develop, and lead high‑performance teams with timely performance assessments. Coach and develop executive talent through succession planning. Maintain an active pipeline of branch management candidates. Lead the evolution and delivery of legendary client experiences. Grow TD PWM business, increase market share, and enhance brand profile. Promote TD PWM brand through community engagement and industry leadership. Oversee negotiation and resolution of significant client issues. Provide leadership on compliance matters to ensure regulatory conformity. Deliver satisfactory audit results. Requirements Undergraduate university degree or related post‑secondary education. Registered with the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) as a Registered Representative and Supervisor & Options. Minimum of 10 years of wealth‑management leadership experience, including branch and sales management. Track record of recruiting, acquiring, growing, and retaining top talent with a focus on diversity and continuous improvement. Strategic, change‑agile mindset with ability to balance business, regulatory, and best‑practice requirements. Experience in a large financial institution, collaborating across business partners. Strong collaboration skills to leverage peer groups across the organization. Resilience under pressure and ability to navigate evolving, ambiguous environments.
