SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant (Functional)

Location: Calgary, AB, (5 days Onsite)

Duration: 6+ Months.

Rate/hr on w2 + Expenses


About the Role:

Client is seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to support our client. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional expertise, particularly in SAP PM, and have successfully completed 2-3 full life cycle implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and deliver SAP Plant Maintenance configurations tailored to business needs.
  • Lead and contribute to all phases of SAP PM implementation projects, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, data migration, training, and go-live support.
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP PM with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FI/CO to support end-to-end business processes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in plant maintenance processes, including preventive and corrective maintenance, work order management, and asset management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operational activities.
  • Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation to facilitate adoption and effective use of SAP PM functionalities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module implementation and support.
  • Demonstrated experience with 2-3 full life cycle SAP PM implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of rail transportation industry processes is an asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Authorization to work in Canada is required.
