Outstanding Opportunities.**Vermilion has an excellent opportunity for a Rotating Equipment Specialist. Based in Drayton Valley, AB, this position will report to the Maintenance Foreman. The Rotating Equipment Specialist is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability and optimal performance of rotating equipment through the development of maintenance strategies, technical troubleshooting, continuous improvement initiatives and optimization. * Ensure Equipment Reliability: Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement reliability and throughput improvements.* Maintenance Strategies: Develop and optimize preventative and predictive maintenance programs; oversee overhauls and compliance with standards.* Technical Support: Provide field-level troubleshooting, lead root cause failure analysis, and support commissioning/start-up activities.* Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate maintenance records, analyze equipment health and reliability KPIs, and manage CMMS data.* Continuous Improvement: Drive reliability-centered maintenance reviews, failure mode analysis, cost reduction initiatives, and equipment upgrades.* Training & Mentorship: Coach maintenance teams on best practices for rotating equipment.* Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to HSE regulations, participate in audits and risk assessments.* Budgeting & Planning: Contribute to OPEX and capital budgets, maintain long-term overhaul plans, and identify profit-enhancing projects.* Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with operations, vendors, and OEMs to resolve complex issues and improve performance.* Previous experience with rotating equipment* Trades Ticket will be an asset (mechanic / millwright)* Experience in investigations of equipment failures and root cause analysis would be an asset* Proven and demonstrated commitment to HSE expectations and requirements* Able to work independently within a high paced team environment with a disciplined approach to achieve maintenance excellence.* Open and honest team player* Positive and engaging personality* Influential, collaborative and flexible#J-18808-Ljbffr
