Facility Project Engineer

Facility Project Engineer Contract: 1 year Location: Lower Mainland (Somewhat remote) Key Responsibilities Develop and manage Scopes of Work for engineering services, including cost and schedule estimates, detailed design, and construction activities. Oversee and coordinate the work of consultants, engineers, designers, and drafters to ensure technical deliverables meet project and AACE class definitions. Lead Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) development, ensuring design adequacy, constructability, and regulatory compliance. Provide construction support, including field monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning oversight. Ensure completion of as-built documentation and engineering close-out deliverables. Maintain adherence to all codes, standards, and internal engineering guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Environmental, and Community Relations during project design and execution. Contribute to the creation and improvement of engineering and design processes for RGS project development and delivery. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution. Registered or eligible for registration as a P.Eng. with EGBC. 7–10 years of experience in the design, development, and construction of natural gas facilities, plants, or related infrastructure. Strong knowledge of process equipment and facility layouts. Demonstrated experience with CSA Z662‑23 Oil and Gas Pipeline Systems. Familiarity with CSA B149.6 (Digester Gas, Landfill Gas, Biogas Generation & Utilization). Valid driver’s license.
