Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to ensure forecasts align with business objectives and evolving cost structures. Support the VP of Finance in purchase order (PO) tracking, reconciliation, and variance analysis. Ensure PO commitments are aligned with forecasted spend and identify early deviations to improve cash flow visibility and budget accuracy. Provide recommendations based on forecast-to-actual variances, helping Operations and Finance teams adjust plans proactively. Month-End Close & Reporting Manage month-end reporting for operational expenses, ensuring accuracy of accruals and allocations in NetSuite. Conduct detailed variance analysis versus budget and forecast, identifying cost drivers, risks, and opportunities. Prepare and deliver recurring performance dashboards and reporting packages for senior leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Support capital investment evaluations, process improvement initiatives, and supplier negotiations with data-backed financial models. Conduct ad hoc deep dives on cost-to-serve, service cost trends, or 3PL performance to identify improvement opportunities. Partner with teams across Aviron to evaluate operational performance and support strategic decision-making. Business Partnering Collaborate with leaders across Operations, Supply Chain, Service, Product, and Finance to drive financial accountability and transparency. Act as a trusted advisor by providing clear, data-driven recommendations that influence operational strategy and execution. Support strategic projects and provide financial inputs for cross-functional initiatives, including logistics optimization, returns management, and service efficiency improvements. Process Improvement & Automation Enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy through automation and process improvement. Develop tools and templates to improve PO tracking, spend forecasting, and reconciliation workflows within NetSuite and Excel. Develop and standardize FP&A processes for scalability as the function grows. Collaborate with the Finance and Data teams to improve data visibility across systems and ensure alignment between financial and operational data sources. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). 5–7 years of FP&A experience, with a focus on Operations, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Finance. Strong financial modelling and analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker). Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a hardware, consumer goods, or logistics-driven business is a strong asset. Growth & Impact As this is a new position, you will have the opportunity to shape FP&A processes from the ground up.
