Canada New Value Solutions Full time

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Business Analyst to help our client design, develop, implement, and support MuleSoft and Salesforce integrations.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborating with the team in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Collaborating with technical teams and connected partners to gather requirements and define integration specifications
  • Building reusable components, connectors, and frameworks to accelerate integration development
  • Analyzing, developing, installing, modifying, and supporting complex software solutions with high interoperability and FHIR coding standards
  • Independently coding, debugging, revising, testing, and documenting complex components or systems to ensure secure and optimized functionality
  • Maintaining customizations and configuration changes in version-controlled environments/interfaces (e.g., GitHub, Test Rail)
  • Mapping between FHIR and other data sources
  • Providing application administration, production support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
  • Working with operations teams and providing documentation and training on software use
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues related to integrations, including API and messaging
  • Developing a test automation framework using tools such as RestAssured
  • Developing and maintaining an API testing framework, including ability to test various version of a single API
  • Developing a performance testing framework using tools such as Apache JMeter
  • Designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, Selenium, JMeter, Allure, Postman and RestAssured
  • Maintaining documentation on JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub
  • Adhering to best practices, standards, and guidelines for Mulesoft development and integration, and staying up to date MuleSoft updates, features, and industry trends
  • Designing and developing integration solutions using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform.
  • Developing and maintain FHIR APIs


Requirements:


  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Testing experience including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, DataWeave, and Mule Runtime
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns, ESB, SOA, and microservices architecture
  • Proficiency in Java programming language
  • Integration experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other protocols
  • In depth experience creating and updating test plans and test cases
  • FHIR resource development, transformation, validation in Health IT
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and developing web services
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience creating automated test cases, especially for APIs
  • DevOps experience is an asset
  • Strong understanding and experience in Agile and Scrum
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong interest in the latest trends and technologies in healthcare IT
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • FHIR experience, including FHIR resource development, FHIR programming frameworks
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and MS Azure
  • Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer certification
  • Understanding of enterprise systems such as Salesforce, including development and integration between Salesforce and Mulesoft
  • Experience working in the Canadian healthcare sector
