What- the Role We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Corporate Development who will undertake analysis to support the company’s position on potential investments, market opportunities, joint ventures, business partnerships, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), organic growth such as setting-up offices in new geographies, and ad hoc strategic initiatives. The Senior Analyst will work alongside several others in Corporate Development and Strategy under the guidance of very impressive leadership. Responsibilities are diverse and will include complex market research, manipulation & maintenance of key economic models, due diligence work, negotiation support, business case preparation, cost / benefit analysis, and ad hoc financial modeling. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with and present to a variety of stakeholders, including executive leadership, are essential. Our client has a high performing culture, and we are seeking a proven Corp Dev Analyst who can seamlessly integrate with this collaborative team and reciprocate help to colleagues. At least 5 years’ and preferably over 7 years of progressive work experience, ideally in investment banking or corporate development within industries such as resources, energy, manufacturing, or engineering. Relevant designation such as a CFA or CPA, or MBA. Strong modelling skills, including high proficiency in DCF and other financial valuation techniques. Experience in a large and complex global public company is highly preferred but not required. How Much Generous compensation total package commensurate with experience, including a performance-based bonus, excellent benefits, a pension plan, employee share purchase program, professional development support, a competitive vacation program, and a top‑notch working environment. The salary is in the range of $120,000 to $144,000, although typically they do not hire beyond the mid‑point.
