Robotics Engineer
We're looking for a Robotics Engineer to push the boundaries of what's possible with embedded systems. You'll be working on the heart of our technology, where hardware meets software, to design and develop systems that power precision in the field.

What You'll Be Doing
- Develop Embedded Systems: Write, test, and optimize firmware for robotics applications, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Design PCBA Layouts: Create and analyse printed circuit board layouts for seamless integration with our embedded systems.
- Model for Precision: Apply advanced mathematical models to solve technical challenges and enhance system accuracy.
- Bridge Hardware and Software: Collaborate with hardware and software teams to create a seamless integration of components.
- Troubleshoot and Debug: Dive into complex issues in embedded systems and hardware, finding effective solutions to improve functionality.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, production, and R&D teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in embedded systems development, PCBA design, or similar roles.
- Skills You Need to Succeed: Proficiency in C++ (required) and familiarity with Python or MATLAB for modelling and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience embedding algorithms into firmware and integrating with hardware.
- Knowledge of robotics, kinematics, metrology, and calibration processes.
- Strong experience with microcontrollers, SoCs, and embedded architectures.
- Solid testing and debugging skills with tools like oscilloscopes and logic analysers.
- Expertise in mathematical modelling to optimize system performance.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Familiarity with PCB design tools like Altium or KiCAD.
- Knowledge of laser trackers and software like Polyworks.
