Senior or Lead Cyber Security Solution Architect Join Boeing Vancouver and work in our Richmond, BC office as we innovate and collaborate to improve operational safety and efficiency in the aviation industry. Position Overview Our mission is to continuously innovate and deliver an integrated digital experience for the aviation industry that delights customers and improves operational safety and efficiency. This role will support the Technical Operations and Airplane Integration lines of business by leading activities to define requirements, design and verify robust architecture, data and information management systems, and components. Position Responsibilities Research, review, and analyze competitor products and services to develop comprehensive understanding of their impact on company strategy. Establish a broad network of contacts and knowledge as a broker to meet multiple customer needs. Coordinate and integrate customer solutions with internal and external processes to provide competitive advantage and foster business growth. Package Boeing and industry products into complete solutions, balancing customer expectations with Boeing resources. Take a consultative approach to help customers achieve objectives. Prepare proposals, develop themes and discriminators, and ensure correct team members and resources are included. Challenge recommended scope and cost to ensure compliance and competitiveness. Identify design constraints and ensure architecture conforms to requirements. Configure and manage architecture views and models. Assess feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives. Lead DevSecOps for software development lifecycles with a focus on Cyber Systems. Basic Qualifications (Required) 8+ years of experience in SaaS solutions, application refactoring, and cloud solutions. Experience with IT architecture consultancy. Deep knowledge of security, cyber, and crypto consulting and implementation. Deep knowledge of DevSecOps for software development lifecycles on Cyber Systems. Cloud strategy and migration planning. Ability to interface between technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Legally authorized to work in Canada. Must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods. Preferred Qualifications (Desired) Previous experience in international business and/or multi‑cultural environments. Ability to work across time zones with a globally dispersed team. Experience with on‑prem and hosted to serverless application transformation. Experience as CIO, CISO, or CTO. Knowledge of data mesh and multi‑cloud aware architectures. Experience in airline maintenance operations and aviation concepts. Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong business relationships. Experience with defining requirements, domain knowledge for RFIs, proposals, quotes, design and verification of robust architecture, data, and information management systems. Additional Information This position is for a locally hired role in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US‑based payroll. Salary range: $120,000 – $214,000 CAD.
