Software Engineer / Sr Software Engineer Join Applied Systems to apply for the Software Engineer / Sr Software Engineer role. This remote position is part of the Applied Epic team. Position Overview We’re searching for a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer to help drive our software vision. You will partner with a global team of engineers and product managers to design, architect, build, and test impactful products, focusing on SaaS‑based application development, test automation, and software quality. What You’ll Do Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of releasable, high‑quality software. Write clean, maintainable code that aligns with internal standards and architectural guidance. Develop, maintain, and improve automated test systems as product features evolve. Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions to assess the impact of changes. Monitor application performance in production and non‑production environments. Debug and resolve application errors and performance issues. Continuously learn about new tools and technologies. Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities Provide comprehensive feedback during code reviews and guide complex technical problem solving. Contribute to technical decisions by identifying opportunities and risks. Share knowledge of languages, frameworks, testing strategies, and tools. Drive continuous improvement of internal processes and documentation, championing principles‑based design, implementation, and testing. We’re Excited to Learn More About You Your experience may include: 3+ years of software engineering experience with .NET/C# and React/TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL Server, OpenAPI, Apigee. Deep knowledge of professional software engineering practices (SDLC, coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, operations). Experience with cloud environments, DataDog, GitLab, and Kubernetes. For a Senior Software Engineer, additional qualifications: 5+ years of software engineering with the above tech stack, including cloud experience. Background in guiding and supporting peers on technical problem solving. Advanced communication skills with the ability to distill complex concepts.
