We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Implementation Consultant (temporary 14-month position) to join the Professional Services team. In this role you will collaborate with our Project Managers to assist in all stages of the payroll and time & attendance implementation life-cycle. Reporting directly to the Manager, Implementation Consultants you will gather client requirements, configure Avanti’s solution to meet scoped client requirements, set and manage client expectations, identify risks, and communicate issues to the appropriate Project Manager.

What you’ll do:

  • Participate in all phases of the payroll software implementation lifecycle including discovery, configuration, testing, training, go-live and post-go-live support across multiple simultaneous projects
  • Attend internal and client project meetings and provide status updates on deliverables
  • Maintain an up-to-date client issues log for projects
  • Host working and troubleshooting sessions with clients to resolve their issues
  • Set and manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide training to client admin users to perform day-to-day activities in support of implementation
  • Document and share solutions and best practices internally across the Professional Services team and other relevant Avanti stakeholders


Who we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years experience leading client implementation projects in a SaaS environment
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Payroll fundamentals and processing procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to display complex data and information in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Someone who is client-centric, naturally curious and a great listener
  • A clear and effective communicator who has the ability to communicate with clients and colleagues with credibility and empathy
  • A solution orientated self-starter who thrives on innovation and who isn’t afraid to solve problems


Bonus Points For:

  • Previous use of Avanti as a super user
  • Experience processing payroll
  • Basic SQL knowledge and strong aptitude for Math
