Overview Brandt is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Upfitting for our Nisku, AB. This position is responsible for working with other departments within the organization to improve efficiency and product quality by designing manufacturing processes, fixtures, workflows, and equipment. Responsibilities Work closely with the Shop manager, vendor installation drawings and instructions, and shop floor to develop efficient upfitting flow to improve efficiencies and increase quality of products being built. Maximize efficiency by analyzing layout of process equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization. Utilize lean manufacturing tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement and operating excellence. Manage projects from concept to completion. Create and implement meaningful metrics to benchmark performance and highlight opportunities. Document process methods and develop standard operating procedures. Other duties as assigned.
