Your Mission:

  • Innovate and Implement: Design and deploy sophisticated machine learning models to solve intricate power industry problems.
  • Analyze and Predict: Dive deep into vast datasets to uncover trends, generate insights, and drive strategic business decisions.
  • Collaborate and Integrate: Work alongside cross-functional teams to seamlessly embed data science solutions into core operations.
  • Experiment and Validate: Conduct rigorous experiments to test theories and confirm the accuracy of predictive models.
  • Optimize Data Workflows: Build and maintain efficient data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data is always at your fingertips.
  • Communicate and Inspire: Translate complex findings into compelling visualizations and reports for stakeholders.
  • Stay Ahead: Keep abreast of the latest in data science, machine learning, and industry trends to enhance analytical prowess.


Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Industry Experience: At least 2 years as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer, with a focus on the power industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Mastery in Python, machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn), and data tools (SQL, Pandas, NumPy, Spark).
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of power systems, electricity markets, trading, and forecasting.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities and independence in tackling challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Development Practices: Familiarity with SDLC, version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Big Data and Cloud: Experience with Hadoop, Databricks, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
