Project Manager / Project Engineer – Saskatoon, SK WSP’s Resources subsector supports clients across Canada, delivering services from concept to completion across mining and heavy industrial projects. The division offers economic studies, project management, detailed design, procurement, site management, commissioning, and industrial programming. This position will support the project management team in delivering engineering deliverables on complex multidisciplinary mining and/or heavy industrial projects from start to finish. You will be involved in projects with our Resources Team and be part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Responsibilities Support Resourcing and Budget Management Coordinate Engineering Deliverables with discipline leads Maintain manpower planning Prepare and maintain project schedule and cost control reports Manage project changes Prepare and maintain HSE and Quality procedures for each project Handle Owner and Stakeholder Reporting, including representing WSP at meetings, presentations, and addressing issues raised by Owners/Clients Respond in a timely manner to matters relating to the project scope of work Ensure all lessons learned from previous projects are captured and reported Lead or support Business Development efforts in proposal preparation Handle other duties as assigned/required Qualifications Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering At least 7+ years of experience in a consulting environment focused on Mining and/or Heavy Industrial clients and projects At least 3 years of Project Management experience managing multidisciplinary projects EIT, CET or P.Eng. designation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and team player Self‑motivated individual looking for advancement opportunities Ability to interact with clients in a multi‑disciplined environment Valid driving license Benefits Attractive pay Flexible work options Great corporate culture Comprehensive employee‑focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform Savings programs Clear vision for the future Commitment to inclusion and belonging Flexible and hybrid work policies Collaborative culture with genuinely good people and humbly important work Health & Safety Health and Safety is a core paramount value of WSP.
