As a Walmart Meat Associate, you maintain department standards, support sales activities, and create a fresh shopping experience. You prepare meat, cheese, and fried chicken orders using department equipment. The work includes food safety, cold chain practices, accurate pricing, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep the meat department clean, organized, zoned, and stocked
- Rotate stock and remove expired or unsellable products
- Prepare deli orders using slicers, stackers, and ovens
- Complete temperature checks and follow cold chain procedures
- Serve customers while supporting daily department sales activities
Requirements:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Follow food safety, health, safety, and company policies
- Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
- Stand, bend, and perform repetitive stocking tasks
- Lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
