This Cashier role centers on positive customer engagement, efficient order processing, and a neat checkout presentation. You will ask for each customer’s PC Optimum Card and handle cash, coupons, lottery, and stamps accurately. The position also supports receipts, returns, merchandising, loss prevention, housekeeping, and store standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain excellent customer service and warmly greet every customer
- Request each customer’s PC Optimum Card during transactions
- Complete customer receipt and return documentation properly
- Merchandise designated areas through facing, signing, and labeling
- Follow loss prevention standards and control inventory
Requirements:
- Organization and neatness in checkout and store areas
- Efficiency processing customer orders with teamwork
- Planning, judgment, and decision-making ability
- Strong computer and register skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and details
Use customer service, transaction accuracy, and merchandising discipline to support dependable retail operations at checkout every day.
