We are seeking a Platform Reliability Engineer to support and optimize our platform services across Azure and AWS. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, cloud-native service operations, and CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for building reliable, secure, and scalable platform components that empower development and operations teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.This role requires proficiency in cloud infrastructure, automation, and SRE practices. You will be responsible for optimizing platform operations, driving cost efficiencies, and enabling consistent service reliability through observability and collaboration with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the design and implementation of core platform services that enable development teams to build, deploy, and operate applications reliably. Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and scripts using tools like Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation. Monitor and maintain compute, storage, networking, and data plane infrastructure for scalability and performance. Collaborate with cloud, security, and development teams to align platform capabilities with enterprise architecture and compliance. Implement observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and other tooling. Troubleshoot platform-related incidents, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement. Participate in controlled deployment activities, ensuring validation steps and guardrails are in place. Support cost optimization initiatives across cloud-native services (e.g., compute, storage, Synapse). Contribute to platform modernization efforts, including migration to governance frameworks like Unity Catalog.
