We are looking for an experienced DevOps Developer with strong GitLab expertise to support CI/CD automation and platform reliability initiatives. This is a contract opportunity based in Montreal . Key Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or a related software engineering role Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Proven experience supporting complex, multi-language and multi-platform environments Mandatory Skills Deep expertise in GitLab CI/CD pipeline development and automation Strong understanding of DevOps best practices and release automation Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Perl and/or Python for scripting and automation Hands-on experience with Docker or other containerization technologies Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible Working knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL , particularly for database deployments Experience with Shell/Bash scripting in Linux/Unix environments Exposure to building and deploying applications using the .NET Framework is a strong plus Additional Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic approach to automation and continuous improvement If you are a hands-on DevOps professional with strong GitLab expertise and are open to a contract role in Montreal , we would love to connect.
