Responsabilités :

  • Effectuer des observations et des audits de sécurité et faciliter les enquêtes sur les incidents
  • Identifier et informer la direction des problèmes de conformité, des risques de sécurité et des possibilités d'amélioration grâce à la réalisation d'audits quotidiens, hebdomadaires et mensuels.
  • Tenir à jour les documents requis pour se conformer aux règlements de l'entreprise et de l'OSHA
  • Maintenir des mesures quotidiennes, hebdomadaires et mensuelles précises pour les rendre compte aux équipes de gestion sur place et aux systèmes de rapport basés sur l'entreprise.
  • Former et aider les gestionnaires à s'acquitter de leurs responsabilités en matière de sécurité (Audits, Respect des règles de sécurité, etc.)
  • Effectuer une formation spécifique en sécurité requise par le responsable de la sécurité
  • Peut avoir des responsabilités supplémentaires en matière de prévention des incendies, de gestion des déchets dangereux ou d'autres activités liées à la sécurité en fonction de l'unité commerciale et de l'emplacement.


Qualifications

  • Bilingue anglais et français
  • Capacité de communiquer les besoins en matière de santé et de sécurité à tous les niveaux de l'organisation
  • Comportement calme en situation d'urgence
  • Connaissance des lois et des règlements
  • Expérience dans l'utilisation de Microsoft Word et Excel à titre professionnel
  • Expérience en matière de maintien de la confidentialité dans des affaires impliquant des problèmes de sécurité et/ou de personnel en milieu de travail
  • Solides compétences en communication, en travail d'équipe, en analyse, en jugement et en orientation client
  • Capacité à analyser les données sur les accidents, les nouveaux processus et les machines pour détecter des problèmes potentiels de sécurité au travail et à effectuer des analyses des risques professionnels et de la sécurité au travail.
  • Expérience en intervention d'urgence et détient actuellement des certificats de secourisme et de RCR
  • Expérience dans la gestion de cas d’indemnisation des accidents du travail
  • Passion pour la sécurité

Doit avoir l'un des éléments suivants :

  • Au moins un an dans un domaine lié à l'environnement, à la santé et à la sécurité (EHS)
  • Un baccalauréat avec une formation pertinente en matière d'EH

We are hiring for a full-time Health & Safety Specialist on behalf of our client, a global company.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform safety observations, audits and facilitate incident investigations
  • Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly, and monthly audits
  • Maintain required paperwork to comply with company and OSHA regulations
  • Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systems.
  • Train and assist managers to complete their safety responsibilities (Audits, Follow Safety Rules, etc.)
  • Perform specific safety training as required by the Safety Manager
  • May have additional responsibility for fire prevention, hazardous waste management, or other safety related activities depending on the business unit and location


Qualifications

  • Bilingual English and French
  • Ability to communicate health and safety needs to all levels of the organization
  • Calm demeanor in emergency situations
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality in matter involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace
  • Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills
  • Ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential work safety concerns and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses
  • Experienced in emergency response and currently holds First aid and CPR certificates
  • Experience in Worker’s Compensation case management
