LGI Homes is seeking a Land Development Manager in the Charlotte, NC area. We are seeking land development professionals who are self‑motivated and eager to dive into the LGI Homes system and culture. The Land Development Manager is responsible for supporting multi‑million‑dollar development deals at LGI Homes through the development of residential lots and land. This position will solicit, analyze, and meet with contractors for bids on all new development projects, and prepare and submit contracts for execution. The Land Development Manager will visit development sites weekly and manage contractors through all stages of development to completion, including the building of parks, monuments, amenities and landscaping. This role will perform final walks with local jurisdictions for street, water/sewer acceptance and bond release, and work with dry utility companies to ensure that utilities are scheduled and monitored through completion. Some travel may be required as needed. At least 5+ years of land development experience is highly preferred for this role. A valid driver’s license is required.
