Employment Terms: 4-weeks during July/August 2026 The Opportunity: Branksome Hall is seeking a Lead Facilitator, Entrepreneurship Program to lead our Venture Lab program within our Slingshot Innovation Academy,. This program provides middle school aged youth with the opportunity to develop the skills needed to build a successful business by learning from a proven Entrepreneur who will bring in real world experience. Venture Lab is focused on empowering youth with the confidence, skills and mindset to turn ideas into action and inspire others. Through team-building, mentorship and hands-on problem-solving, they’ll learn to make smart decisions, communicate effectively and think like a startup leader to unlock their leadership potential. The Lead Facilitator will report into the Director, Camps and Slingshot and serve as a professional representative of Branksome Hall, actively embodying the school’s values of creativity, inclusiveness, sense of community, and making a difference. The role will oversee 1-3 Mentors based on the class size, coaching them to guide student teams through the entrepreneurial process. The program will run from July 6th - 17th and again August 17th - 28th on a full-time basis during program execution.The successful candidate can be available for one or both programs. If you are unable to commit to both programs, please indicate which one you’re available for in your application. Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to: Collaborate closely with the Director, Mentors and other stakeholders in the smooth execution of the Venture Lab curriculum. Lead and execute structured, high-energy, engaging program sessions, following the workshop plans and curriculum provided, adding in your own real world experience to complement the content. Facilitate interactive learning modules, hands-on, and experiential activities designed to teach innovation, ideation, business modelling, pitching, and prototyping principles. Model entrepreneurial thinking, decision-making, and critical reflection for students throughout the program from ideation to the final pitch. Provide targeted, constructive, and actionable feedback to student teams leveraging personal entrepreneurial experience to ground advice in real-world application. Mentor students to develop essential skills, including public speaking, confidence, collaborative teamwork, and professional presentation, ensuring every student feels valued and is encouraged to contribute meaningfully. Oversee mentors and coach them on how to best guide and support students through their projects and the entrepreneurial process. Support the identification and management of behavioral, interpersonal, or social-emotional challenges among students with professionalism, consistency, and empathetic resolution techniques. Support the logistics for any off-site excursions or specialized sessions, including guest speakers, the mid-program pitch, and the final showcase for parents and the community. Candidate Profile: Proven entrepreneurial experience; founded, led, or played a pivotal role in a business or startup Strong facilitation and public speaking skills, ideally with youth or educational audiences Experience working with youth in extra-curricular or summer programs, specifically with Grade 7-8 students is an asset Some experience coaching and supervising others is a strong asset. Able to maintain high energy and inspire students connecting real-world experiences to their experiences Knowledgeable in core business innovation frameworks, including Design Thinking, Lean Startup methodologies, and the Business Model Canvas Adept at conflict resolution and behaviour management strategies applied to a classroom setting Passionate about guiding students through the entrepreneurial process posing thought provoking questions, curiously challenging their assumptions, and encouraging them to think critically and deeply with their ideas Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Apple applications Experience with various innovative technologies to support student teams Target Hiring Range: $2,000 - $2,500 weekly #J-18808-Ljbffr
