Short Description : Alberici Constructors Ltd. is looking for a Project Manager to join our growing Water / Wastewater team The Project Manager is responsible for managing and leading the project team to deliver a high-quality project in the water / wastewater sector, satisfying the Company and Client in terms of quality, safety, timeliness and cost. Project Managers are responsible for pre-planning, development and execution of the project until completion, while championing Alberici’s safety first culture, ensuring the project is on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with the contract. This position will lead our Union Water project in Windsor, Ontario, one of Ontario's first Water / Wastewater collaborative project delivery. Our values: Working Safely Valuing Diversity Serving Humbly Executing with Integrity Solving Creatively Engaging Fully ABOUT THE ROLE The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing a multi-phased program within an active Water Treatment Plant, working in a highly collaborative environment. This role partners closely with the Client and Engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery with respect to quality, safety, schedule, and cost. Project Managers are accountable for developing and supporting their project teams, while championing Alberici’s safety culture, ensuring the project is on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with the contract. This position will lead our Union Water project in Windsor, Ontario, one of Ontario's Canada’s first Water / Wastewater collaborative project delivery. Key Responsibilities Leads project execution, ensuring that the project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with the contract. All while meeting the client’s requirements and championing Alberici’s safety culture. Provides leadership, technical expertise and disciplined project execution; develops execution plans including scope, schedule, quality, health and safety, risk management, change management plans, and all areas of project performance. Leads various project review and progress meetings, including with the project team, site staff, clients, subcontractors, public groups, alliance partners, or others. Reviews progress and addresses issues while maintaining positive working relationships and reporting appropriately on project progress and success to senior leadership. Champions Alberici’s safety culture: adhering to occupational health and safety legislation; managing incidents and accidents; leading Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs); conducting daily inspections; managing risk; and leading by example. Champions high level of quality by adhering to Alberici’s quality management system and demonstrated industry standards. Maintains high level of client confidence and satisfaction by ensuring the project is constructed and delivered as contracted; construction experience is positive for the client and employees of the client onsite; keeps client apprised of project developments and changes; maintains high accessibility and communication with the client. Leads and manages project team, including hires, trains, coaches, performs performance management, disciplines and develops talent; maintains a positive team culture and effective working relationship. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with subcontractors, trades, and other team members onsite, both internal and external contacts. Acts as a core team member of the Operations team, providing support and guidance to other team members, creating a collaborative and productive team environment. Contributes positively to Alberici’s culture, values, and safe environment. Qualifications & Experience 5-10+ years of experience in the field of construction project management with exposure to projects of major scope and in the water / wastewater field. Post‑secondary degree / diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field. Professional registration, P.Eng. Gold Seal Certification in Project Management is an asset. Advanced skills in MS Office products – Excel, Word and Outlook, and project management software systems such as Procore, P6 Primavera, Bluebeam, Touchplan. Experience working in multiple contract model environments including but not limited to design‑bid‑build, progressive design‑build, CMAR, IPD, and other integrated forms of agreement. Ability to travel to Windsor, Ontario for the duration of this immediate project; Ontario driver’s license and/or appropriate mode of transportation to project sites required.
