Base pay range CA$80.00/hr - CA$84.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Bevertec Public Sector- Contract (1 year + extensions) Role Overview A public-sector organization is seeking two experienced Senior Quality Assurance Automation Developers to support large-scale, enterprise digital platforms and services. The role focuses on ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and security for modern, user‑centred digital solutions delivered using Agile methodologies. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to plan, execute, and automate comprehensive testing strategies that support frequent and reliable delivery. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, and execute manual and automated test strategies for functional and non‑functional requirements Create and maintain test plans, test cases, scripts, and automated test suites Conduct database testing, including SQL validation, data integrity, and data conversion testing Support CI/CD pipelines through automated testing integration Track, document, and manage defects, ensuring clear communication and effective resolution Promote quality best practices and continuous improvement across Agile teams Support test metrics, reporting, and quality dashboards Contribute to reusable test components and emerging testing practices, including AI‑assisted testing Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) Senior‑level QA experience on large‑scale Agile projects Strong experience with manual and automated testing in enterprise environments Hands‑on experience with API testing, database testing, and CI/CD pipelines Experience with non‑functional testing (performance, load, security, usability, compatibility) Proven experience working on complex, multi‑team Agile initiatives Nice to Have Experience with Jira, example mapping, and dual‑track Agile Experience leading or mentoring QA team members Experience supporting UAT in multi‑stakeholder environments Experience using data analytics to support quality insights Thanks in advance to all the applicants Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Quality Assurance Industries Government Administration Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Bevertec by 2x Get notified about new Quality Assurance Developer jobs in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada .
