This regular position is based in Loblaw’s Meat Production Facility for Fortinos. You will package sealed meat trays, assist with processing tasks, and help maintain facility safety and sanitation. Packaging equipment experience is ideal, though successful candidates may receive training. The work requires flexible shift start times and careful production records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate packaging line equipment and machinery
- Case pack sealed trays of meat products
- Record lot numbers, production totals, and equipment downtime
- Assist with other meat processing and packing tasks
- Maintain facility safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Packaging equipment operation experience preferred
- Ability to record production information on paper forms
- Flexibility to work different shift start times
- Responsible and dependable approach to assigned work
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
