We are Making Sustainability Happen.As our new **Air Quality Junior Scientist ,** you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal. The successful applicant/s for this position will provide technical support on air quality and environmental engineering projects, including assistance with data analysis, technical reporting, and field work. Success in this role will depend on your ability to perform in a fast-paced, demanding environment that requires a high level of attention to detail.**Role***As our new Air Quality Technician, you will play an important role with our current team working on working on projects across Alberta.**Working closely with other team members, you’ll contribute to air quality and meteorological sampling, environmental permitting reports, emissions monitoring, and dispersion modelling. You’ll also prepare field notes and environmental summary reports for work conducted across Alberta***Responsibilities:*** **Perform regular sampling at air quality and meteorology monitoring stations*** **Download continuous monitoring data and perform analyses and reporting of the measurement data*** **Liaise with the analytical laboratories providing sample analyses, ensuring analysis and data reporting schedules are being followed.*** **Conduct independent analyses, interpretations, and conclusions*** **Prepare a variety of environmental reports*** **Plan, report and track schedules, stakeholders and budget as part of project management*** **Follow established health and safety policies****Working @ SLR**With us, there is no doubt you’ll grow your subject-matter expertise and industry knowledge.
