The Dietary Aide plays a crucial role in ensuring that residents receive their meals in a professional manner. Reporting to the Dietary Manager, you will assist in a range of tasks including serving, cleaning, and preparing meal essentials. Ideal for individuals eager to work in food service while making a positive impact in the lives of seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve meals in a courteous manner
• Assist in meal prep for beverages and desserts
• Clear tables and deliver tray services
• Maintain cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining areas
• Engage in catering for special events
Requirements:
• Must hold a Food Handler's Certificate
• Previous experience in food service is an asset
• Enrollment in Food Service Worker Training Program preferred
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
