Base pay range $45.00/hr - $55.00/hr CAN – Business Continuity Advisor (Contract) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 months Extension: Possible Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (37.5 hrs/week) Location: Hybrid – Toronto, ON (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) Overtime: Occasional (as needed) Role Overview Seeking a Business Continuity Advisor to support corporate functions with Business Continuity Management (BCM) planning, testing, and incident preparedness. This role will develop and maintain BCM plans, conduct BIAs and continuity exercises, support reporting, and partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment to enterprise BCM standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain BCM plans, controls, and recovery strategies Conduct Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and support continuity risk assessments Plan and execute BCM exercises (work area recovery, simulations, contact tests) Advise on continuity strategies, recovery approaches, and risk tolerances Identify gaps and partner with business and IT teams on resolution plans Provide insights and reporting on BCM KRIs and related deficiencies Track and support closure of audit items and regulatory findings related to BCM Support incident management coordination and readiness activities Required Qualifications 1–3 years of Business Continuity Risk Management experience within financial services Experience with operational risk, audit, compliance, or key control monitoring/testing Project management and/or business analytics experience Strong Excel and Tableau experience (required) Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to engage senior stakeholders Nice to Have ABCP/CBCP or related BCM certification PMP Experience with reporting/monitoring tools Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
