Shift Real Estate Management has an exciting opportunity fora Financial Controller to join our team. Reporting to the Managing Partner, theideal candidate will act as the financial leader, responsible for accurate andtimely accounting, forecast and financial analytics functions that provide theteam with data-driven insights to strengthen our financial performance andoperational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the execution and oversight of fullaccounting cycle Timely and accurate reporting for properties, projects, andfinancial purposes Providing essential financial analytics to variousdepartments to ensure a high level of project and property performance Assist in analyzing the financial feasibility ofacquisitions and projects Establish, maintain and enhance internal controls, policies,and procedures Lead the selection and implementation of software that tiesour business lines together Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs,and strengthen operational efficiency Establishing and tracking key metrics to ensure Shiftsucceeds in meeting strategic initiatives Financial forecasting and budgeting on a project, propertyand entity level Become part of the leadership team that drives the business Timely and accurate reporting to financial institutions,investors and other third-party stakeholders Cash flow management Other duties as assigned Credentials and Characteristics of our Ideal Candidate Possess a proven track record in accurate accounting andreporting A desire to help take our accounting and financialmanagement to the next level Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communicationskills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships withtenants, vendors, team members, and investors. Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention todetail Demonstrate a strong intellectual curiosity and a drive tounderstand the underlying “why” behind processes High level of integrity where doing the right thing isalways top of mind Collaborative team player with a willingness to supportbroader organizational needs, even when tasks fall outside the typical scope ofthe role.
